TWO masked intruders stormed into a house and attacked a man with a claw hammer before stealing his car.
The incident on Tunstall's Westbourne Drive left the 35-year-old victim with head and facial injuries.
Police say the pair were outside the man's home at about 7.45pm on Tuesday evening.
When he answered the door, the occupier was attacked with the hammer, before the offenders took the keys to his black Peugeot and made off in the vehicle.
